Another Grammy Nomination!!!

The Sister Sadie “No Fear” record has been nominated for a 2025 GRAMMY AWARD for Bluegrass album of the year! I co-penned 2 songs on the record - “Mississippi River Long” and “Blue As My Broken Heart” - and I’m so proud to be a part of such a beautiful project.

If you’re interested in learning some of the fun and crazy details of how these songs were written (15+ years ago, believe it or not) and how I found out about the nomination, you can read about them here on my Ko-fi blog. You can also follow the song links in the blog to pledge a cup of coffee and join my Ko-fi club - that will give you access to the worktape and demo versions of the songs from back when we wrote them (as well as unlocking a PILE of other unreleased songs and behind-the-hit stories).

The 67th Annual Grammy Awards will air live on Sunday, February 2, 2025 from 8–11:30 PM ET / 7-10:30PM CT, and the ceremony will be broadcast on CBS and streamed on Paramount+. I will be watching from home with my kiddos, so please join me in cheering on the talented women of Sister Sadie. Congratulations, ladies, on your beautiful record!
